Dog having accident at night

My dog during the weekday mornings/day will be very good about potty. Then comes evening and it's like he gets distracted and forgets all his good habits. At least one accident in the evening. Granted, the kids come home and the house does get a bit rowdy.. but is that it? Is there something I can do to stop this or just keep being persistent? Maybe utilizing the crate?

Dogs are a good walk ruined. You will always be carrying around a big bag of dog shit. Choose if that's how you want to spend the next 15 years.
