This house in Potomac is Insanely Overpriced.

$2,450,000 for a cheap flip. Thats is crazy.

It makes it 100K more than this house close by which is twice the house

Why would a house on a somewhat middle class block for Potomac on a shy 1/2 acre be more money than a house double the square footage and 4x the plot size?

Bentcross is a rich person block. Conestoga is a nice block but it is not a 2.450 million block.

Am I wrong, is the flipper on Conestoga nuts!!

Well, for one, Contestoga is all renovated, and Bentcross is not.

Yea but it is flipper renovated, cheaply done with a over one million price increase since their purchase

Seven Locks Elementary is better than Potomac Elementary on paper.

Houses are worth what someone is willing to pay for it so don't write the check if you're not willing to pay it. I'm sure many people would say my house is overpriced but I disagree.

Now why would you even bring up the school zone in the listing.

What do you mean?

The original house was dated, but that exterior remodel is a visual crime.

Yes, it is not a cheap flip. It is transformed, look at the old house pictures.
Both houses are in the same area.

Almost everything is new on house #1.

Your idea of what "somewhat middle class" means is not tied to reality...

Also most likely hose #2 is not move in ready.

Buyers want updated and ready to go -- no one wants to manage renovations and the appeal of "done/fresh" sells!
