| Anyone starting plan for Spring break 2027? If so, do you expect airline tickets and hotels costs to go up or down booking this far out? |
|
Impossible to predict given the war’s impact on jet fuel.
Way too far out to book flights unless you find a terrific deal on a major (read: reliable domestic) airline. |
| Where are you going? I'm already thinking about SB 2027. |
France |
| Was just looking at the APS calendar. They have 1/2 days for Elem. school Wed, Thurs, and Fri before spring break. |
| Ticket prices aren't even available on google flights for spring break next year. |
|
Too early for flights - schedules aren’t available and will shift anyways. But fares are much more likely to rise than fall.
We are doing Universal and will book as soon as the packages open, probably next month. But flights are more like 3-6 months in advance to book. |
| Just looked for our usual Christmas trip to Florida. Flights are $8,000 for 4 not first class! I'm going to guess they will come down. |
Florida isn’t a terrible drive and at that price, driving sounds pretty good. |
I'd rather not go. |
| I think, as for hotels you can book now but make sure you can cancel. Just periodically check the rates. As for airfare, check to see what the price is and if it’s a great price, book, if not, keep checking. I normally book refundable tickets just in case. Hate booking so far out. |

I'm thinking about what we want to do, but definitely not ready to buy anything, lol.
I'm trying to decide between Puerto Rico, Utah or a cruise |
| I’ve been considering a driveable trip due to concerns on jet fuel/flight costs. I’ve never been to Great Smoky Mountains NP, but what I’m reading online about Gatlinburg being MAGA central, it’s making the idea less and less appealing. Other ideas are St Louis or NYC. |
I hate roadtripping, but I agree with you. I'd be driving. |
Meh. I wouldn't let that stop you from visiting. I'd let it stop you from moving there, yeah. But visiting at spring break? It'll be fine. |
