Why doesn't Mount Holyoke get more love here?

Know two exceptional kids going next year and my (impressive) boss is an alum. I feel like it flies below the radar on this forum and I'm curious as to why as my own kid begins research.

It's fine. Endowment per student is ok, outcomes are ok.
Smith is a much better pick if looking for a similar school. So is Wellesley, Bowdoin, even Wesleyan.

Then Holyoke is more conservative, so it doesn’t even have that going for it. Just kind of meh alround.

OP, I truly don't know. I think it's a great school. It's not right for every student but then what school is?

Gorgeous campus, diverse, kind students and seems like a great school. D26 liked it a lot, but the financial aid offer was not great- came in over twice as expensive as Smith for us, which we were surprised by.
