Will we regret the length of this excursion?

We are taking a cruise and booked a catamaran sail excursion. I booked it through the cruise line during a Black Friday sale for a steal (it’s 3x the price now). It’s six hours long.

It has us starting the day right from the dock in St. Kitts at 9am, it takes us to two separate snorkeling spots (we do love snorkeling passionately), then for a beach break in Nevis, back on to the boat for a lunch, cocktails, and music as we slowly sail back, arriving back at 3pm.

It simultaneously feels like a fun, full day, but at he same time, somehow six hours feels long. Has anyone done anything similar? Reviews rave about the excursion and claim the crew, spots, food and entertainment are fantastic, so I don’t know why I’m second guessing.

Enjoy the trip. Sounds amazing!

Just adults no kids? 6 hours will fly by!

No, it sounds great! Are you the one sailing? If so, you'll be exhausted if you're not used to sailing in these waters. If you're not sailing, but just a guest, I'm not sure why you're worried about it being too long.

You will be alright princess.

Is a personal catamaran or is it opened to other people on the cruise ship who also want to book?

6 hours doesn't seem long for a sailing trip.
(Just make sure you're well sunscreen.)

Sounds fun!

Anything shorter would feel rushed.

You won’t know unless you go.
I hope to god there is a shaded area on the boat and ice for cold water.
It really depends, I went on a whale expedition in Alaska for 6 hrs and the food was terrible and saw zero whales and it was very boring.
If you love who you are with, make it fun.

Just make sure you have what you need. Hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, long sleeve shirt or sweater. 6 hours is not long for 2 locations, snorting, etc. but, it can feel like forever if it ends up being cool or rains some and you are cold, and so on.

I'll go in your place if you are worried it might be too long!

We love to snorkel and go out on boats all the time in the Caribbean.

6 hours sounds like good amount of time. If you are going to snorkel in 2 locations, I would give that at least 2 hours to get there and snorkel. Then beach break for 2 hours. Then remains time is getting to and from starting point.

Sounds like perfect day. Active snorkeling then beach break.
