Swim and tennis club - worth it?

If you have joined a private swim and tennis club for the summer, was it worth it for your family? We are in the Bethesda/Rockville area. Thanks.

We are in Silver Spring, and our club is just swim, but it's been one of the best things we've spent money on.

My kids have done summer swim for years. It provided a great structure for their summers at a much lower cost than camp. Now, as teens, they still swim and also coach and work as lifeguards.

Literally the best thing you can do in the summer in this area. Every time someone moves in I tell them join a waitlist asap.
