Wootton at Crown is WaC (or W@C)

Just putting it out there to make fetch happen.

Why do people insist on calling it "Wootton at Crown" rather than just "Wootton"? I know they had to say that during the boundary study for clarity's sake, but now that it's over, it's just wordy and annoying. Everyone knows the new site is at Crown, why say the whole thing out?

Well of course Google Maps is not going to call the new Wootton site Wootton before the school moves, that would be confusing and technically inaccurate until they switch sites.

Well of course Google Maps is not going to call the new Wootton site Wootton before the school moves, that would be confusing and technically inaccurate until they switch sites.

With the current Wootton site and a Wootton site elsewhere, Google Maps won’t be able to tell them apart and directions will be confused for years.

I doubt it. I was trying to find Northwood on Google Maps and it just kept sending me to the Woodward address. And then I'm sure next summer it'll switch over to calling that Woodward and relabel the Northwood site as Northwood. It adapts pretty quickly.
