CFTC pay increase

Anonymous
What did CFTC get for pay increase this year versus typical years of percentage on band?
Anonymous
3% merit pay increase and a 2% general pay adjustment under the 2 year comp agreement for FY2025-2026. That agreement was executed before the inauguration though. Going forward, current leadership might tell staff to go to hell.

That is great.

If you think Selig will stand up for staff and do anything but match the GS raise, you’re on something.

SEC pay bands are higher, and retirement match is higher. gensler didn't put a compensation plan in place (and it probably would have sucked anyway) so we got what we got.

also you're comparing a 600-person agency with a 4000+ employee agency.

no, there was no negotiated pay raise agreement after 2024's raise. they eventually agreed to continue the overall "compensation plan" subject to funding through sept 2025 (FEHB contributions, additional match, etc), but there were no negotiated raises for 2025.
