Are Cotton+Linen Jeans Meaningfully Cooler?

I see a few pairs of cotton/linen blend jeans being sold right now.

There may be others I am missing. I'm intrigued. Are they meaningfully lighter weight or cooler?

I just got these. I love that they have the look of white jeans but more relaxed and easy looking so they feel much more modern. They're definitely cooler than denim for the summer.

I find a lot of linen blends to be itchy. 100% linen that is decent quality doesn't bother me, but many blends are awfully itchy, though they wrinkle less, which many prefer.
