Anyone else hoping to apply out for 1st?

| We got into our fifth choice for K, and there’s a big gap between that and our top three choices. Our nursery school director was somewhat unhelpful about admissions, so we didn’t get much feedback. Is anyone else in the same boat and planning to attend spring tours or events again? |

| Why do you have to attend spring tours again? I thought that other than K, you just directly contact the school to see if there are spots available. I also imagine they just won't know until at least the fall? |

| No direct experience with this, but I agree with the prior poster. Spring tours are generally geared towards families applying to K. You should reach out the schools you’re interested in directly to see if they will have spots for first grade. Now would be way too early, I think. |
