I really like her podcast and find her real and inspiring. She is the woman behind the Kardashian companies and she grew up poor!

But I just learned that she married a rich Swede who basically introduced her to the Kardashians. So she isn’t really self made after all.

I just read the WSJ piece on her. I was interested until the part where she said she spends maximum 3 hours per week (9-12 on Saturdays) with her four children, and then she's all done and "off to fill her own cup!"

Gross. Why even bother having children?

I think she said she spends 9-12 on Saturdays AND Sundays with her kids. Nobody knows what the rest of that means- does her husband have different time with them? What do weekday evenings look like? I don't think this statement was a full picture of time spent with kids by both parents in that household.

Also- they have a significant amount of household staff. If she's with them, it's not doing things like making breakfast or chores where she's distracted. I would guess she maximizes quality time with them. (Not that the rest of us moms can't make those things into quality time, like helping make meals, but just saying we don't know what the rest of her and her husband's time looks like and how they spend it with the kids).
