All Inclusive Activity Vacations

Anonymous
Please recommend your favorite vacation that was all (or nearly all) inclusive as to activities and good for families with older teens and college kids. Examples, a dude ranch or Xcaret park in Mexico.

We enjoyed our day at Xcaret from opening through the evening show. We did not stay onsite. That was a lot less expensive.

Dude ranch is perfect for this. Horseback riding and tons of other activities (archery, clay shooting, hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing, etc.). Great for multiple generations.

Thanks all. OP here and we have done both Xcaret and a dude ranch. I am looking for other similar suggestions.

I am staying home before I go to a dude ranch.

we did a lodge to lodge rafting trip in Oregon with Row Adventures--only 4 days so it was part of a larger road trip that I planned.

We went to a couple Club Meds when the kids were little and they were lovely. Loads of activities such as sailing, golf lessons, tennis, circus school, etc etc.

Check out jungle lodges in Belize. We stayed at Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Lodge and enjoyed it but there are any number of other similar properties.

Safari with Wilderness Safaris, &Beyond, Singita, etc

We rented a catamaran for a week and sailed the coastline of Belize. It came with a private chef and we got to choose the activities (scuba, snorkeling, kayaking, island hopping, fishing, etc).

Not OP, but wondering how much this was. I have looked into it for the BVI and it was about $17-20k for 6 of us. Curious if Belize is cheaper.

We went to a highly rated one and it was just not our speed...we are not used to luxury accommodations, but it was pretty camp-like for a luxury pricetag

I have friends that raved about the REI excursions with their teens if you like that type of thing. https://www.rei.com/travel

We loved it. All meals included, each family member could sign up for what they wanted.

These used to be run by REI but now they outsource it to Intrepid (still could be good trips though)
