Do you recommend Rock Creek Forest ?

| We are in the neighborhood and love the Rock Creek Forest community. The PTA is very active and supports the school with many fundraising events and fun activities. I have mixed feelings about the administration but the school has many wonderful teachers. I recommend it. |

I think she’s a solid principal and a nice person. She was in the unfortunate position of following probably the best elementary principal in MCPS and coming in when the beloved assistant principal went to another school. |

That’s a shame. My children were there when Lowndes was principal. From talking with neighbors, I hear the school’s been in a lurch ever since, although the PTA, school community, and teachers are great. |

| I feel like principals are not staying as long these days. If it were MCPS weeding out bad ones that would be good but it seems like some of the best are not staying as long as they used to. |
