Miele vacuum a disappointment

Anonymous
I’ve heard such great things about Miele vacuums and we’ve always had Dysons. I’m trying to clean the roller brush and it’s a bear to get out. Need drill, prying apart pieces. Have spent so much time, even watching videos on YouTube to take apart. With the dysons it’s so easy. What am I missing? Why do people like the miles vacuums so much.

A drill? Mine requires a screwdriver to turn two things and then you just pull it out.

Should have gotten a Sebo. Mine pops out easily with the push of a button and zero tools.

I’m surprised you need a drill. Mine only needs a coin, but it’s nearly 10 years old.

Yea I moved on from Miele to Sebo after 20+ years of being a diehard Miele fan.

You're doing something wrong. They're great vacuums.

Why would anyone replace a dyson?

If your dyson is not working as well, don't replace it. Simply spend $20.00 on new filters, and then take a clorox wipe to all the seals. Done. It will work like brand new.

The wrong was replacing her Dyson with another brand.

We have had both. We are done with Miele and will be sticking with Dyson.

Dyson's are nowhere near as good as they used to be in the past. The newer cordless models have become far less durable though their power and battery life have increased. However, if you go back over a carpet that was cleaned by a cordless Dyson with an actual corded vacuum you will be horrified by what the Dyson leaves behind.
Don't get me wrong, I do use a cordless Dyson for quick clean ups but you need real corded power for weekly deep cleans.

After several disappointing Dysons and a Miele, I have a Kenmore.

Nope - Miele far superior, not sure what OPs problem is. Best vacuum I've ever owned

Nah.

Miele might have better marketing, but dysons are far superior to mieles

I doubt anyone is actually using a cordless vacuum for real vacuuming.
