DS prefers not to shave. I think he hates the feel of the mechanical razor, and he's cut himself twice. He has fine motor skills and sensory issues that probably play into it. I don't care what he looks like at school, but the problem is that he needs to shave to look neat and tidy for summer job interviews, and I'd prefer he maintain that look in front of clients at his job. He already has so many quirks that could get him fired.
Could you please recommend something, maybe electric? Thanks! |
| Electric razor for sure. DS has used one for a few years because of similar issues when using standard razors - still managed to cut himself. We just got him a basic one from Target and it's fine. Be sure rinse face with cool water after the shave and use some sort of alcohol free shave balm. Does help quite a bit. |
| My son and husband use the Phillips One Blade - it’s a small, easy to use electric razor. It is comfortable and quick. |
