Please recommend your rug and/or cleaning company - preferably one that tries to use ‘green’ cleaning techniques - TIA!

Do you have a Green Frog housecleaning company in your area?

Don’t use Ayoub. They ruined two rugs of ours and then blamed us. They came back with more stains then they started with.

Our local dry cleaners had a sign in the window stating that they clean rugs and so we took it to them. I’m sure they send it along to a rug place, but it worked out well and cost less than the quote I got from a rug place ( which might have been Ayoub, I can’t remember).

It’s not steam, it’s just hot water and extraction, which is fine, but if you can I think it’s better to send rugs to be fully washed every so often. They have to not have any kind of applied backing for it to work.

It’s just like laundering anything else. They even have a giant spinner to remove most of the water, and then they hang them to dry the rest of the way with lots of fans.
