AAU in High School - team structure

My daughter plays MS AAU and is currently on a “B” team. Her club, and it seems like most others, field 2 teams per grade. I’m trying to understand what HS AAU team structure is like, and if there are fewer teams? For example, I see that PPA has a regional, showcase and national team (at least for boys, I don’t know about girls). Does that mean there are only 3 teams for all HS grades? Would love more insight on this, since she loves to play, but frankly isn’t really a top player in her age group.

The number of teams is program specific. Larger programs such as PPA have enough coaches and players to field multiple teams.

Usually there is a team per year (u15, u16, u17), at least for boys.
