| I'm nearly 5' 4" and am desperate for black dress pants that I do NOT have to shorten. Want something that drapes a bit at bottom, but doesn't pool on the ground (as I live in a city and gosh knows what's on the sidewalk!). Need them as soon as I can get my hands on them. TIA! |

Same and I can't seem to find any that aren't spandex basically.
I also have the issue where they don't make pants small enough. Truly I should be a 0, but every year the 0's get bigger and bigger! I used to be a 2 when I was in college and now I'm basically a 00. I haven't lost any weight... |

It's impossible OP, I've been looking for weeks!! My problem is that EVERYTHING is high waisted. Even "mid rise" pants are high waisted. I pull them up and they are under my boobs! I'm 5'2" with a short torso and long legs. I used to have no problem finding mid-rise pants with a 30-31" inseam (works with 2" heels). Now everything is high rise with a 34" inseam. Even things that say they are 30" are much longer. Why can't women's pants be the same as men's pants? Why can't we order based on waist circumference, rise, and inseam length???
Let me know if you find anything good. I think I am going to resign myself to Express and polyester pants. |

Theory has some styles with the option for a shorter inseam. I'm just under 5'3" and they work really well for me.
https://www.theory.com/women/pant-guide/petite-pants/ I own these in more than one color . . . they are particularly flattering and have a normal rise: https://www.theory.com/women/pants/fluid-flare-pant%2C-30%27%27-in-good-wool/Q0101208_001.html |
| If you need them quickly, banana republic has petite and short sizes. |
| Try brands like lands end or old navy, banana republic, all have petite short" sizes. The high waist is killing me too. So uncomfortable. |
| My petite dd just found nice black plants at aritzia that she didn’t have to alter |
| I like Yogipace on Amazon. I'm around 5'2" (rounding up numbers, ahem) and they offer many different lengths for comfortable dress (work) pants and relaxed afterwork lounge or exercise pants. I'm wearing some as I write this. I've finally found something that works for me and I don't have to hem anything. They're pretty much all I wear now. Prices aren't bad, either. |

| Banana Republic. They have different styles, including ankle length. Go to the store and try on. |
Those are high rise casual pants. OP is looking for dress pants. |
| I was desperate because of a work trip and no time to get things hemmed. Old Navy and Ann Taylor both worked. I did have to overnight ship, though, because slim pickings for petites in store. |

These are really good. The regular length is 27" inseam, which fits me (5' 4") perfectly. There is a short optiion too (25" inseam)

DP I really like these! Thank you. |
Theory is the best. I still wear mine from 20 years ago. In fact, my entire professional wardrobe from way back was Theory. Classic quality. |
