TJ student-faculty run honor council court

Anonymous
Similar to the student+faculty honor council/courts at top ranked schools like Harvard, Princeton, Cornell, Columbia, etc., there were suggestions in the past about establishing something similar at TJ to reinforce integrity and academic honesty. Has there been any progress on that?

It's been working well for decades at those highly selective schools, and TJ could benefit from it too. Infact learning and participation in upholding academic honesty appears to be more effective than just having rules sit in a student handbook that no one reads.

This was a thing until Mukai got rid of it

They are meaningless to those schools. Massive cheating scandals right under their noses.

Maybe that's the meaning after all: learning that law enforcement and government is just some dudes, not justice.

Hahahahaha it was well-known by students that most of their peers on honor council were cheating. Glad it is gone.
