Background check and DCS

After applying for and interviewing for my dream teaching position, we received a DCS abuse notice concerning one of our children. The allegation was completely unfounded and was made by our child’s very spiteful resource teacher days before our case conference (where we were already bringing 2 advocates and a lawyer). The case was open and dropped in under a week. I was just offered the position, but am now concerned that it will show up on the DCS background check even though it was unsubstantiated. The case worker said it should not appear, but online digging said it might depending on how deep the check is. Anyone know for sure? I feel like even though it was quickly closed out, the abuse charge is now going to make me look like a bad candidate and they will end up passing.
