Anyone used “Bend Mental Health?”

Has anyone used Bend health (online only) for therapy, medications, etc. for their child?

We’ve tried it but did not stayed with them. Their approach is combination of coaches and therapists and we did not find that useful.

Yeah, it may not turn out to be useful (OP here), they seem to have pretty rudimentary advice for struggling kids, and the therapist hasn’t seemed very interested/not a good match for my kid, after a couple sessions. Just hoping to discover more about others’ experiences.

We did because we were forced to by our pediatrician in order to get meds, as he did not feel comfortable prescribing despite a full neuropsych and said the practice always refers out to Bend. They did give us meds, but it didn’t feel like they tried to know our kid to inform their care and the required “counseling” was a waste of time and we found the company non responsive when we had questions and concerns about our child’s dosage. When we finally stopped seeing them, they billed us for sessions on dates AFTER we terminated care and that therefore never happened - getting that fixed was INCREDIBLY time consuming. 0/10 do not recommend.

It's free through my health insurance (the coaching is) and is basically the same as therapy. Working great for us for kid that has issues controlling big (upset) emotions. I have another kid with GAD since age 3 did CBT and now just does talkiatry to meet with psych every 3 months. Another kid uses Blackbird to see.. an NP? The meds meetings are covered with my insurance, but nothing else is.
