What are you getting your son as a college graduation gift?

I would like to get him something meaningful, but he says he would most appreciate $$$

Macbook Air, since he had to turn in his school chromebook. Friends got him Bose headphones. Other than that, all his stuff for his dorm, which was minimalist, because he doesn't decorate or need much.

Why would a college graduate want things for a dorm room?

Reading comprehension please.

OP I’m getting my son a set of golf clubs.

DP. No need to be a jerk, golfer. The phrasing wasn’t super clear and plenty of people don’t use commas. Could have meant, what are you getting your kid for college? Grad gift?

Be nice.

The first sentence of OP’s post was quite clear.

Just give him money, or some expensive item he needs and asks for.

How about you admit you made a mistake? The title isn't misleading no matter how far you try to stretch and maybe actually read the original post before rushing to comment. You don't get a gold star for being first.

My oldest DS wanted a nice watch (Tag Heuer Aquaracer) and my middle DS wanted custom fitted golf clubs. My youngest hasn’t told us what he wants yet.
