Double Dates

How often do you go out with other couples, and how long do you date before you "double date" with that person?

My friend will be in my neighborhood for an event, I asked her if she wants to grab drinks after, she said yes and that her boyfriend would join us and she asked me if I want to bring my boyfriend along. He's a "new" boyfriend, we've been dating about 2 months now and I'm not sure if it's too soon? I have no doubt that these people would all "blend" together and get along, but it feels early? But maybe I'm overthinking it! I think I should just do it.

Don’t view it as a date, look at it as friends getting together. It’s up to you whether you want to introduce your friends to your boyfriend or vice versa.

It's a get together, that's all.

double dates usually ended up with something sexual so be ready for that

2 months hardly seems to early to meet friends. I also don't think I've ever called a situation like this a double date. It's just friends getting together. You seem a bit.... judgemental

Take him, and let him pass/fail the friend approval test.
