Appeals process what test do I want?

If appealing the aap decision and child has had the MAP, Cogat and Naglieri. What should I have done privately? This WISC or Woodcock Johnson?

Also, request the packet from school. E.g. it might have fall MAP score but not winter MAP score. In case it's higher and your kids shows good growth, that would be a data point to include.

WISC and as pp said, definitely include recent MAP/iready if scores are higher.

I’d keep the FAS results private.

We appealed and got in and did NOT do additional testing.

We're not doing additional testing either, just submitting what we think are better work samples. We made the mistake of letting the school choose all of the samples for her portfolio, thinking they would choose the best, and they submitted writing samples where she didn't even use complete sentences. Her test scores are well above average and her report cards have always been mostly 4s. We were debating appealing vs. just reapplying next year (she's only in second grade currently), but then a number of her friends got in who we think she's on par with, so we're appealing.
