DD, case of spring fever

DD 15 is REALLY excited for the summer (not that she has much of anything planned, lol). To the extent that she’s preparing for it already! Shes said that she’s “mentally already done with school” and acting like school is practically over. Spoiler alert: you’ve got more than two months left! How to reel in?

All the kids I know are mentally still in their AP courses, because exams are in May.

My kid and all her friends are satisfyingly boring, then. I approve.

Just wait until she's a senior, already accepted to college, and really doesn't care any more. For now, remind her there's some time left, and not to ruin her hard work of the past 7 months when there's still 2.5 to go.
