YouTube TV new plans

I've had YouTube TV for years and the price has gone up and up and I've thought about canceling but never did. Late last year I read that YouTube would begin offering different tiers of plans that focused on various genres like sports, news, entertainment, etc. Then I forgot about it, but with the latest auto payment I decided to see if I could reduce my bill, and I did!

I'm mad that YouTube never notified me that these various cheaper plans are now available, so I thought I'd let others know that you can just switch online. You can read about them at https://blog.youtube/news-and-events/youtube-tv-plans-launch-pricing/

$18 cheaper is hardly newsworthy.

Sorry they didn't notify you, but this was widely publicized when the announcements were made. I ditched directvstream at over $90/month for the mostly sports package right at the start of March Madness and love it. Also cheaper the first 12 months.
