Started for me exactly 1 week ago. Felt fatigued for about 24-48 hours, but no fever at all.
Bit of a cough. Wake up each morning with some yellow phlegm and mild congestion. It clears when I wake up and and am up and about. I feel fine during the day. Maybe slightly low energy, but not considerable. One week in, and I'm still coughing/blowing yellow snot when I wake up. It's not allergies. I've had spring allergies my whole life and know how that manifests. |
| Ugh stay home and stay away from us we do t want it |
| *dont |
| Sounds like Covid. |
Covid test was negative. And not remotely like the first time I had covid. |
| Sounds like a cold. And yes, I currently have it. |
| Yep, just recovered from this after 2 weeks. I also had some GI symptoms the first 24-48 hours. It was annoying. |
+1 common cold, not a weird virus. |
|
Sounds like a minor cold or allergies.
Allergies can change with age. And right now tree pollen is hitting hard. |
| My whole family has this two week cold. Very congested especially at night. Towards the end I got a sore throat from the post nasal drip. Negative for Covid (and way worse than Covid for me). Rest and lots of fluids. |
| Are people really dumb enough to think that you can ask if people have the same extremely generic and mild virus on an anonymous forum? |
| I don’t think this applies to you, OP, given your symptoms, but to all testing negative for covid, do a flu test, as well. We happened to have bought tests that test for covid and flu, and my kid with cold symptoms tested thinking it might be covid but got an immediate positive for flu. He’s vaccinated and it was very mild (a couple of days of congestion and mild fever), but because we knew it was flu spouse and I (also vaccinated) were able to get prophylactic tamiflu and didn’t get sick. |
| We all have it - a week so far, thick congestion, fatigue, some GI issues for some of us. Covid test negative. Family of 4 in NOVA. |
+1 on allergies can change. |
| Do people forget that colds still exist? |
