| Who and what movies didn't make it yesterday? Surprises? |
| I wasn't really surprised by anything but was glad Michael B. Jordan won. He seems like a nice, humble person (although we'll never know for sure.) Like it that everyone seemed to be cheering for him. |
+1 There seemed to be a pretty strong undercurrent of happiness that Timmy C didn't win lol. |
MBJ's costars were more memorable/impactful in Sinners. I think the snub is that Jesse Plemons didn't get a nomination. |
I am happy he won as well. Loved the fact that he took his trophy 🏆 w/him to In-And-Out afterward!! In-and-Out has the BEST(est!) burger/fries/shakes on the planet btw. 😋 |
And this is why no one takes the Oscars seriously. |
Not only did Chalemet and Leo have better performances, Delroy Lindo blew Michael B Jordan off the screen in every scene they shared. Michael B Jordan wasn’t even one of the top 5 actors on The Wire. I know the guy is nice and good looking, but this obsession with trying to put him on par with other great actors is ridiculous. |
| Maybe this is *all* they give him? Didn't Denzel *only* win two Oscars? Everyone was thinking Taylor would win but she didn't the old lady won. |
| I think Teyana Taylor has made herself unlikeable throughout award season. Love that Amy Madigan took the prize. |
Not really - mid at best, but a great photo OP |
