Do WLC and TM Post Rosters after Tryouts?

Anonymous
Wondering if the the Washington Little Caps or Team Maryland hockey teams post their rosters publicly now that tryouts are done. Curious if a few of the better kids on my son's team and other teams in the AA division were able to make the jump to AAA.

Eventually, but I feel like it is months later.

Gotta find someone that made it and ask their parent to show you roster. Welcome to being a crazy hockey parent!

Which team is better, Little Caps or Team Maryland?

Wanted to avoid that since I don't know which players made it and they were somewhat secretive about even trying our. Wanted to avoid the awkwardness of asking them and then finding their player got cut.

Really a coin flip at any particular age group. Both of them are probably more of upper AA teams rather than true AAA.

They both have notoriously bad websites. They will not update any time soon. Since AA tryouts are this weekend you will find out. If you know player A, B, and C tried out for AAA and only one of them shows up to AA tryouts then you know the other two were selected for AAA.

How about you just chill out and not worry about what other kids are doing. But having had kids at both programs, the rosters aren’t usually publicized until deposits paid and all is official. Not likely until late summer. But seriously you need to chill. AAA hockey is a long and arduous road ( and DMv hockey is notoriously mediocre at best). You have a long road ahead. Go have a glass of wine abs be happy your kid is on the team.

This really fired you up, didn't it. Wanting to know where teammates are playing is pretty normal.

Are new players recruited or “encouraged” tryout for TM and WLC?

Even at Tier 2 there is a lot of back channeling to try and convince players to switch, so definitely at WLC and TM.
