How have you secured a safe learning environment for your child?

Our school has not been helpful in preventing harassment, assault and taunting.

What advocates or lawyers work in this realm? Are there any parent groups addressing this at the school board level?

I have not had this trouble for any of my children in two different FCPS ES, MS, and HS.

Assault is never okay. Taunting and harassment are not okay, either, but they are harder to prove. But, if the assault is physical the school must step in--
unless it is happening outside of school. Then, it is more difficult for the school to help.

There is a process to move a child due to bullying and the like, google that. Use your documentation of what has been happening to justify the move.
