Groomer recs for highly anxious Goldendoodle

I need to hire a groomer who is highly skilled, patient, and gentle for my highly anxious Goldendoodle.
Either a private home or mobile service. I live in No. VA and will drive anywhere for a great groomer. Thank you in advance for your recommendations. |

Expensive, but these guys come to your driveway and are very good. My anxious dog hates the car (and the groomer) so I pay the up charge. They do a really nice job with my doodle.

| Not quite what you asked for (not in a home or mobile) but Masterpiece Spa in DC is excellent and good with anxious dogs. They don't crate so your dog is there only the time needed to groom and not a minute longer. They only ever have another dog or two present at the same time and it's not a chaotic environment like many grooming shops. I usually book my dog mid day, drop off and go for lunch somewhere on the block and pick up quickly when I get the ready text. |

| My doodle gets incredibly anxious when groomed. A vet prescribed trazadone. I give it to him 2 hours ahead. With the medication he can go to the groomers and be ok. Worth trying. It seems kind to take the edge off for them. |
