Amika texturizing spray is good. But I honestly just wear my hair up a lot.

Also wear my hair up a lot. It takes too much work to get a look I'm happy with, so I learned how to do a handful of put-together buns with a French hair pin. I use dry shampoo (Trader Joe's dry shampoo is great) if I'm looking particularly flat or my hair is too slippery to hold with the pin that day.

Yeah those hair pins don't hold my fine hair at all. Same with a lot of claw clips. The only guaranteed item is an oversized barrette or two elastics. Then some bobby pins.

Texturizing spray?

K18 masque used *properly*, dyson air wrap and R+Co hair spray to hold the curl/style.

I have fine hair and all the recs above get me volume, but specifically do the opposite of the other things op wants: shiny and smooth. My hair gets frizzy from hot rollers (though it does get huge and beautiful) and dry spray makes it look so unhealthy and dry instead of shiny. Ive never found the holy grail that does both. If I use some kind of oil to try and counteract the above, it gets greasy immediately.
