Swimsuits

I haven’t bought a new swimsuit in many years at this point, but the time has come. I’ve lost 30 pounds since last summer and nothing fits anymore. What stores have the best selections? I feel like I need to try these on in person and not just a catalog. Lands End looks like a wide range but do they have options in store?

In addition to needing to deal with a c-section pooch, I am very self conscious of my back which has some markings from acne so I’d love to find a suit with a highish back but lower front which seems to not exist….

Thanks op. I wish covering the back didn’t also mean having the swimsuit basically be a turtleneck in the front….

I tried on the Boden one linked above and even with the long tab on the zipper I couldn’t zip it up myself—and refuse to have a swimsuit that I need help to get into (and maybe out of—since I couldn’t zip it up I never tried u zipping).

What's your height / body type?

How much of your back do you want covered OP? Would something like this be enough coverage or do you want it to cover all the way up to the shoulders too: https://andieswim.com/products/the-amalfi-one-piece-paisley-oasis-classic

Me again. Another thing I do for back coverage is a suit like the above and then wear a linen shirt, unbuttoned, over it whenever I'm not in the water. For me it's about a combination of sun protection, not loving how my back looks, and not wanting to have to put on so much sunscreen (or being able to apply sunscreen myself without worrying about it). I've found a suit like the above mostly solves these problems, and a really lightweight (usually somewhat sheer) cover up makes me feel totally comfortable, and then I just deal with revealing a bit more of my back when I actually swim because oh well.

Not op but I love this one. Wish there was a solid black option

Honestly, OP, my back has acne scars and discoloration and I just don't care. Neither should you. Celebrate your new body!

I also want to know if there’s still anywhere to try them in person (not OP but also haven’t bought one in years)
