Daughter just got in. RD.
Are others getting decisions at the same time or is it on a rolling basis. |
| Congratulations! It's all about the []_[] |
| Go Canes! It’s not rolling. |

Daughter got in. Spring Start though….
It’s an admit, but does anyone here have kids who started in the Spring Semester? I heard it’s for kids they wanted to admit, but had slightly lower stats. Better than a rejection or waitlist. Any thought on getting housing in January or socially starting in then spring of 2027. Thanks. |
| Any merit? |
My ds said many spring kids move to Miami in the fall and attend Miami Dade. They can't live on campus but they can live in the apartments in Coral Gables/Coconut Grove where many other students live, go to parties, etc. |
| Son (current junior was accepted as a Spring start) actually got a call the first week of August if he wanted to start in the Fall. He had already secured an apartment with 3 other Spring admits and was planning on taking classes at Miami Dade. All of his roommates were also offered a Fall start. They had the best of both worlds living in an apartment right across from campus and then they were able to able to move in to the dorms second semester. There are a ton of Spring admits and many choose to go abroad first semester to Rome of Ireland, but regardless they are integrated seamlessly when they arrive on campus. If she loves the U, she should have zero apprehension about it from a social standpoint and accept the offer. |
