Why isn't FCPS extending the 3rd quarter?

They extended the 2nd quarter into the 3rd quarter, and then we lost a couple additional days due to weather. This was already the shortest quarter. Is there a reason they aren't extending it to make up for that, even by a day or two?

most high school classes are rolling gradebook, so it doesn't really matter if they have to move the summative when they come back from break.

4Q might seem longer, but it has way less assignments they start SOL Pep and then they just do fun projects. ES and some middle
High School- They have less SOL review now than just 10 years ago, but we still have less work than past quarter..

Because they don’t care. They don’t hold teachers accountable for on-time grades, so why should it matter to them?
