I've always thought Bucknell offered the quintessential college experience. Not too big. Not too small. Perfect balance of rigorous academics and a robust social scene. Students with high IQs and EQs. And the alumni network is amazing. For a LAC ranked at 30, it produces outcomes comparable to top 10s. The only thing that could be better is the weather, but hey, you can't have it all -- and you can always get a finance job in Miami after graduation! Good luck to everyone tonight!

I've heard about a few high-stat waitlists. It's getting tougher. The word is out.

Are you intellectually disabled? It's right behind UPenn for outcomes.

With that kind of language I don’t want you sticking up for my alma mater!

Bucknell is a middle of the pack Patriot League school located in the middle of nowhere. Can’t imagine spending $95-100 k for that experience. No thanks.

My kid had a fantastic experience at Bucknell with small classes, stellar professors, no classes taught by TAs, and terrific summer internships. Best of luck to those who applied.

did you show demonstrated interest? they actually care. our private CCO said don't even bother applying if you don't go to the session when they come to school, do online tour, engage with emails....

Its a target/likely for many top stats kids but you need to play the game.

If you are worried about the cost, Bucknell isn't the school for you child. Same with Villanova.
