baltimore armour u17 started off with 26 players at beginning of the 2025 season. 5 left the team before the first official game of the season. Coach lookingland added 4 more players. roster now is at 25. coach only plays 11 players every game and maybe 3 players get 10-15 minutes at the end of the second half. stay away from baltimore armour if you actually want to play a game.
Or even be coached. He does not coach. Stay away from this club and this coach. We can’t wait for this season to be over and leaving. Extremely abusive Coach. Consistently degrades the non starters since beginning of the season then blame them for not performing when he’s been ruining their mental health for 6 months No matter what you do, he won’t play you as a new player. 11 specific boys and their families have a strong hold although his team has 21 QUALITY players that he hand picked and scouted. He just wants bodies on the bench Armour will sell you with - we have depth and every single player on this team will get scouted just because your affiliated with this club Bunch of bull crap. They just talent hoard and screw over families |
How is their college placement for 2026 and 2027? |
| Honestly this issue is in every team that over rosters for one reason or the other . Boys or girls. I would stay away from these teams at all costs. Placement is the BS clubs sell to families. They barely do anything and take the credit at the end. |
| All of these mlsn clubs over roster now. Dropping 4-5 kids weekly is the norm, even at u13. |
|
That sounds like a crappy situation. Thank you for posting the warning to other families.
Coaches need google reviews. |

| This is known about BA. Go to where your kid gets playing time. |
Based on their social media, not great. |
| Poor Bmore area parents. Have to choose between Maryland United, Pipeline, Armor or Celtic. Yikes. |
| I don’t know anything about this club because it’s in (gag, cough) Maryland and that’s disgusting but curious do you pronounce it “Armour” or “Armor”? |
Probably one of the most uneducated remarks I've read in here in awhile. |
Better off going to pipeline- their college placements are great- probably the best in MD. Bethesda also has good placement. |
Couple star recruits and the rest is crappy |
Yes the part that gets me is how they sell the team and club and then screw over families once you’re in. They train the least out of most local clubs. They rely heavily on scouting top talent and it’s just a revolving door of talent that goes in and out - they care less about the players |
| yes absolutely true what original poster said. armour lookingland is a toxic club. best to stay away. |
