Does your financial advisor's services including estate planning + taxes?

Is it important to you that your financial advisor have in-house estate and tax services?

if they are charging a competitive fee for those services and not overcharging, then absolutely that is critical to me

When we had a FA, no. They provided list of recommended tax accountants and we used that.

Now we no longer use FA, we DIY, but we still use the recommended tax accountant.

No — they are different skill sets.

IME what happens is financial planners who overcharge justify it by offering other services when people would be better off just paying other specialists by the hour for those services.
