ECNL moving to full season for all ages?

| Any truth to rumor that ECNL is moving to full season for all ages? Will high school players still play in high school? |

I noticed some clubs had their regional teams doing spring EDP or spring NCSL. There are lots of kids at that level who get cut from the high school tryouts and still want to play.
Not sure about the ECNL teams. |

I don't think so. The club still charges the full price for half a season. |

Assume you are talking about HS girls. Our MA ECNL boys teams plays a full year schedule.
The killer in all of this is that HS soccer is not all the same season throughout the country. HS Football - Fall Sport. HS Hoops - Winter Sport. HS Soccer - well, some fall, some spring, some span across seasons. Mid-Atlantic team here and our director for girls did say it was being considered to move to playing each team twice. Plus, with the additional of Charleston Surf, and the rumbles of a FL conferences, there needs to be some adjustments made. Last year coming up for DD, so not a huge issue whatever that is decided. |
