| My kid said a few of her classmates got acceptances in the past few days, but there’s still nothing in her portal. Do they release decisions in waves? Anyone else accepted this week? |

| It's not really waves, Monroe scholars have always gotten results a couple weeks early. |

There is a stipend for research but no scholarship money. It’s an honor and has some perks such as the research money, a newly refurbished honors dorm, and a few other things but it’s not a merit scholarship. |

| Seems like the out of stater Monroe students get 10k a year though |
