Giant headache today - allergies?

| Last week I had a headache for 3 days straight and it’s rare that I have an unexplained headache at all. I thought maybe I was getting sick. But I think it was just the changing weather/air pressure. Advil didn’t help much for me either, but it seems to be fine now. |

I had a headache and it turned into a cold with runny nose and body aches.

| Three in my family have Covid right now. Started as mild nasal congestion but the severe headache kicked in quickly. I have had a severe headache for 3 days. My husband and son were exhausted with a mild throat clearing cough. My son was the only one that spiked a fever for a day. I initially thought it was allergies but when he got the fever, I thought he had the flu. I bought the over the counter tests that check for Flu A and B, Covid, and RSV all in one test. Everyone was positive for Covid. |

A lot of what people think of as sinus headache is actually migraine. The trigeminal nerve, which branches through the face near the nose, is what’s irritated during migraine.
Barometric pressure changes and heat can be migraine triggers for many. They tend to occur in the spring at the same time as pollen. |
