Experiences at CCPC Nursery School

Thinking about sending our child to Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church Nursery School and would love to hear any personal experiences. Thank you in advance!

Ccpc is a phenomenal school with a staff that has been there for decades, with very little turnover.
The teachers have such a great understanding of child development, and really have created a fun, family type atmosphere. They have openings right now, for the Fall

Only good things to say about it. Great staff, well organized and good communication. Stellar playground and inside play area. Better parent involvement/community feel/events than other schools in area.

I'm current CCPC staff. Your child will probably do just fine but behind the scenes? Things are a mess.

There has been plenty of turnover since I've been here - someone left within the first month of my first year.

Noni fired at least one person and another left I believe before she retired. Since Nicole started in 2023, 7-8 people have left including 1 office staff person. She hired 6 people over the summer/during the school year, and 4 quit or got fired.

Those teachers & administrators that have been here for ages control the culture, are very inflexible and can behave entitled and petty towards new staff, especially assistants. There is a lot cliquiness & classism at CCPC.
