Tai Chi Walking

I've been getting a lot of Tai Chi Walking video coning across my you tube shorts recently. Do it and for 4 weeks and you'll look amazing. Follow this program (and it costs whatever). I googled Tai Chi Walking and it looks like it's that stuff that old people do where they just stand there and shift their weight from foot to foot and maybe do a few turns now and then with some slow arm movements. I am just curious as I can not imagine this is helpful except for maybe spiritual or calming in some way. Has anyone does this? Is it what I described? Any real benefits?

No. This is a huge scam. Please just ignore the ads. They are so low budget too....hey can my WIFE lose weight if the walk?

I do ignore the ads. But it got me thinking about Tai Chi in general. I'm wondering if anyone out there does Tai Chi and, if so, why? I have to assume it's for some spiritual/inner peace reason, but I'm not sure.

These ads are hilarious - the guy is like “I look 30 but I’m 67.” We’ll of course you do, because the fine print at the bottom says you’re AI.

I have notice so much tai chi in my social media threads. Once you click on one you get a ton more. I wouldn’t pay for any of it, but I do think there is a lot of merit to it. Maybe like easier yoga??

I just feel like its WAY TOO easy. It like shouldn't even have a name. It's not even stretching. It's not even walking. It's like trying to move as slow as you can into different stances.

Scam!

From YMCA class's description:

Developed for self defense,Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise used for stress reduction and a variety of other health benefits.
Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle flowing postures and movements.

I also get these ads - they even were in the NYT (or WaPo; I don't recall which) subscriber newsletter this week. Never done it, but it seems scammy.
