Any great brands that are free of synthetics but fit smaller women?
It seems I’ve developed a sensitivity but everything I’m finding is suitable for very tall waifish women. I’m too short for all of these flowy organic cotton and linen items. |
| You can have a local seamstress sew you clothes out of 100% cotton/linen/silk/wool. I use those services often. |
| You need to share your size. Are you technically a petite? |
+1 Please tell us more about your size, shape, and style before we can begin to recommend anything. Also- there are lots and lots of natural fiber options. Is the issue your budget? What are you hoping to spend? In the summer I rely heavily on linen dresses from Quince. My favorite is the fit and flare midi, but it does have elastic in the back. I believe other cuts don't have any elastic. https://www.quince.com/women/100-european-linen-fit-flare-midi-dress?color=blue-pinstripe&gender=women&tracker=collection_page__%2Fwomen%2Flinen__subcollections-Dresses%20and%20Jumpsuits__All%20Products__17 https://www.quince.com/women/linen-sleeveless-dress?color=classic-mini-gingham&gender=women&tracker=collection_page__%2Fwomen%2Flinen__subcollections-Dresses%20and%20Jumpsuits__All%20Products__1 |

I am sensitive to polyester but I can tolerate nylon and spandex, it’s very weird. Can you tolerate nylon? I am petite too. Can you share more about your style? Can you wear rayon?
I like karma east for 100 cotton dresses Fair indigo is good for cotton basics and they even have them sorted for you in a 100 percent cotton section |
I don’t know if I can tolerate nylon but all the clothes I see have elastane and spandex if they have nylon. Yes I have tried and like Fair Indigo and have of their casual pants and joggers but need some other clothing, maybe slightly less casual. I tried Pact and broke into hives, then realized they use Spandex in their “100% Organic Cotton” items. |
Yes petite / short / size 2 |
I can’t do pact either! They market as organic but every order I’ve tried from them reeks of chemicals. One thing I have done is go to brands I like and search “100 cotton”. I have gotten some great 100% cotton dresses from Anthropologie and Boden. |

OP, I know it's not exactly the season, but have you tried any of the brands that specialize in 100% merino wool?
Woolx, Wool&, Smartwool, etc |
