DP. That thread is full of people posting utter nonsense. Claims with no sources attached, or wacko sources like "World Socialist Web Site" (!!).

Someone actually posted that there are "1,000 dead and wounded U.S. soldiers" that are being kept a secret from the public. I mean, seriously? That's just one example among many. The trolls are out in force - and these are of the left-wing variety.

You should read that post more carefully. It didn't say there are 1,000 dead and wounded. It said there were 1,000 wounded and more dead (implying more than six).

You should read that post more carefully. It didn't say there are 1,000 dead and wounded. It said there were 1,000 wounded and more dead (implying more than six).

Surely you understand that the post was FALSE. Where is any credible source reporting this? And now there are idiots posting and actually believing the claim that Iran has captured American soldiers. I am not sure what to believe. Do you have an accurate number for the wounded? I know that a C-130 flew from the Middle East to Germany, made a short stop, and then flew to Andrews where it was met by several ambulances and a bus. Those vehicles then went to Walter Reed. I think that it is safe to say that several wounded were being transported. How many? Do you know?

DP. I’m the poster who started the (now locked) politics thread questioning why the mainstream media is largely silent on Iran war criticism and facts. This is exactly the sort of thing to which I was referring. We should not have to resort to X and rumors for actual news because our mainstream outlets are too corrupted or scared to report accurately. What a disaster.
