Polio Travel Warning - Upcoming Trip

I have a message into my child's pediatrician about this, but wanted to ask here.

We are traveling to the UK which is listed on the CDC Polio Travel Warning issued yesterday:

Looking at my child's records, he has not had the last dose (given from 4-6), he is 6. I assume I need to get him the last dose before we go, but also should the adults in the family get the booster? I don't think we have records indicating whether or not we have gotten them before.

Wow. Glad I saw this post - flying to London Tuesday and had not even heard about this. Guess I’ll have to get the booster. Have other people been getting boosters for London?
