They re-evaluate the wait pool once spots open up, I think in a couple waves in the spring. |

| A couple of years back, my kid was offered a spot in July. (He didn’t accept it). He was clearly a stem kid (and already in the Blair magnet) so it seemed they had likely gone deep into their waitlist before offering him a spot. |

| My clearly STEM kid who ended up in the Blair magnet was offered a CAP spot right at the beginning. I think they actually like having diversity of interests in CAP, and also boys. |
