SAT Score Choice

Can you choose to send two test dates for Score Choice? or is it only one test date?

Also, when do you send the SAT scores? do you choose the college to send it to on the day of the SAT or separately?

Thanks!!!

You super score and send that. Then schools get your best verbal and best math. Only a few schools make you send the results of every sitting.

So, you have option of the test dates for super score or all scores have to be sent for superscore?

It automatically sends the scores from your highest math and highest verbal/reading/english.

Yes. You report the verbal from May but the math from March or whatever. That’s your composite “super” score. Not all colleges accept it.

How do you know whether a college accepts superscores?

They tell you. In the application or on the website.

You don't send scores until fall of senior year, when you know you're done testing.

Only some schools require you to send a score report from College Board when you apply.

Most schools will take scores that you report in the Common App. There, you enter your highest section scores only.

Many top schools have you ebter the verbal and math from the test date with the top math and the verbal and math from the test date with the top verbal. They “superscore” but they see the section scores from both top dates. Best to have the top math and reading from a single date.
