I've been on a semaglutide for 4 months. The initial side-effects have finally subsided and I've lost 25 lbs so far, which is great!
What's so not great? Since starting the medication, I have not been able to orgasm. This has never been an issue before and started right after my first dose. I haven't made any other changes so I have to believe the meds are the cause. DH and I both enjoy and prioritize intimacy, and I still find it pleasurable, but the absence of an O has really got me down. I know that sexual side-effects are possible, but uncommon, and am wondering if anyone else is in the same boat? If so, did changing meds, adding supplements or anything else work? When you read about GLPs/sex, all you get is bunch of stories about how it improved things because people are more fit and comfortable in their bodies. While I feel great physically, my sex life is suffering cause my new body isn't working for me in the bedroom. |

Didn't happen to me.
Maybe talk to your doctor about switching to Zep? |
| Never heard of sexual side effects related to GLP-1. I'd suspect a different source. |
| NEVER heard of this as a side effect. |

Yes! I have experienced the same thing.
I have found it lessens by the end of the week, so try to make up for lost time them. Also, the night I do the shot is usually ok, just one or two days after so what I can’t seem to get there |

Anhedonia is a known side effect, and loss of sexual pleasure falls right within that.
OP how much more do you want to lose? I ask because I wonder if an even smaller dose would help counter this. |

I've been on both Wegovy and Zepound. Never had that issue. Talk to your prescribing Dr. |
| I have experienced the same and the Reddit boards are filled with similar complaints. I can still get there but it takes a lot longer. Fortunately, I'm almost at my goal weight and will micro dose after that. |
| To the contrary, there seems to be a baby boom on glp-1s. |
