St Bernard’s Applicants

Among the unconnected, what makes a strong St Bernard’s candidate? What kind of students are they looking for?

Tall, dark and handsome. And rich.

Quirky! It says that on their website.

Funky interests, an esoteric vocabulary, theatrical personalities, precocious charisma

St B was the only school doing one-on-one child interview to really get to know your child. And you don’t have to be connected. If your child possesses what they are looking for, they will take him!

We are unconnected as well. Agreed with the above poster - St. B’s one on one interviews really help them get to know your child, and will engage him in a way that many other schools could not. That was our experience.

What have you noticed specifically that make certain children quirky or funky?

White and furry with some dark patches and a barrel of whisky or brandy around their neck.
